Obtaining the Mu’lin Permit ensures brokers can continue promoting properties confidently while avoiding regulatory risks in the UAE real estate market.
What Counts as Advertising?
Any content used to promote properties on behalf of a brokerage or developer is considered advertising. This includes:
- Property posts and carousels
- Reels, stories, and videos
- Walkthroughs and virtual tours
- Calls to action such as “DM for details” or “Contact me”
If you are promoting listings that do not belong to you personally, this activity falls under advertising regulations.
The only exemption applies if you are advertising your own business purely as an individual, without promoting specific property listings on behalf of others.
